The Purpendicular management are delighted to announce that Joe Lynn Turner (ex DEEP PURPLE & RAINBOW Vocalist) will perform in St Petersburg Russia at the fantastic Jagger Club with Purpendicular on the 17th of December 2010.
This sensational news was confirmed last weekend when all contracts were signed, bringing Purpendicular together with one of rocks greatest Vocalists.
Robby Thomas Walsh will share vocals together with Joe, with a few surprises in store!
Joe Lynn Turner appeared on the classic ‘Slaves and Masters’ album and toured worldwide with Deep Purple in 1991. Before that period he was known best as the Vocalist in Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow from 1981 till the band split in 1983, appearing on three albums ‘Difficult to Cure, Bent out of shape and Straight between the eyes.
Earlier last month,Purpendiculars Management were contacted by a Respected Russian Promoter regarding the band as one of the best Deep Purple Tributes worldwide with positive quotes from Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice.
