‘We wanted to give our Fans something new and exciting. We do not want to be a Deep Purple copy as there is only one Deep Purple,or anyone else for that matter as we do things our way in our style, of course there is influences from Purple, Floyd, Zeppelin, Blues, Soul, Disco, Hard Rock and Progressive Rock….Its all in there.
The Album can be listened to in Two ways….inside the Concept in a dark room by a Candle or simply just as individual songs.
The Concept is about all our Journeys through life, the Ups and the Downs and the Horizontals, touching on Money, Power, emotions etc etc while the clock of Life ticks away!. We are all in this together so to speak!
On this Album are some top top players and the Album was written on the Road in various Countries.

Purpendicular & Ian Paice will Tour again in 2015 on a more extensive Tour this time.
The Tour will commence March of this Year inside Purpendiculars European & South African Dates in France, Switzerland, Germany & Denmark.
Last Year seen the Band work with Ian in Czech Republic and Germany.
Ian has opted to work more with the Band outside of Deep Purple.
On the previous Tour the Band performed ‘Somebody Done It” from the upcoming Purpendicular Debut Album ‘tHis is the tHing#1′, a Track that Features Ian Paice on the Studio cut.
Also included were Deep Purple Tracks such as Child in Time, Mistreated, Bad Attitude, Moments from the recently Gold Deep Purple Album, ‘Now What?!’, not to mention Hits such as Smoke on the Water, Perfect Strangers and Highway Star.
On the 2015 Ian Paice & Purpendicular Tour, Fans can expect a few more Obscure Deep Purple Tracks! As well as one or Two more Tracks from ‘tHis is the tHing#1.

Purpendicular have completed Three successfull Shows on their European Tour 2014 with DEEP PURPLE Drummer Ian Paice.
The Shows themselves where in Brno Czech Republic, Burgrieden & Rutesheim Germany.

The Press in Burgrieden and Rutesheim were full of praise for Ian and Purpendicular regarding the Spectacular interplay, Vocal Range, and Power and energy on Stage.
Paice has many Times sang the praises of Purpendicular, and this time calling them an absolute Fantastic Band and great Friends.

The Purpendicular Management are delighted to announce the Third European Tour since the Bands formation, Featuring the Legendary IAN PAICE of DEEP PURPLE.
So far Two European Dates have been announced in Brno Czech Republic and Rutesheim Germany with more to be added.
This Tour will feature some Classic Deep Purple Mark 3 Hits as well as the up and coming Album Titled, tHis is the tHing#1 which will be released just in Time.
Purpendicular go into their Summer Break after performing in Bulgaria for the Second time in a Year!
The Band Performed Three large Open Airs Run by TV Channel, TV Darts.
Purpendicular played to over 10,000 people in just Three Days! in the Cities such as Bansko, Kyunstadil, and Blagoevgrad ! with an extra Show in Plovdiv!
The Band were on Prime Time TV News Daily and were Interviewed by TV Darts for a Second time.
